For as long as I can remember I have watched my father operate our family business with the utmost integrity and commitment to quality.Inspired by his passion, I decided to follow in his footsteps and become a licensed Funeral Director, graduating in 2002. For next 8 years I continued to hone my funeral service education as a Licensed Funeral Director with The Simple Alternative and the Mount Pleasant Group of Cemetery & Cremation Professionals of Toronto.I have devoted myself to learning all that I could about the Funeral Profession so I could one day return home and and assume responsibility of our family's funeral home, In 2010 that became a reality.
I realize that I will have some "tough shoes to fill". Armed with Dad's guidance; I commit myself to serving our community with the same honesty and compassion you have come to expect from my father.
My wife Stephanie & I are truly blessed with birth of our son, Aden in 2012. We take great delight in being part of his "growing up" years. Aden is currently enrolled at Holy Name of Mary School in Almonte. He loves school, takes Judo classes and is getting to be a better skater with each lesson. I think his best friends are his pet dogs, "Parker" and "M.J."

We always have an eye out for people who possess that certain personality to help folks who are grieving. Who care about peoples feelings and understand the confusion and hurt a death brings to a family. So when Dan agreed to join us, we were obviously delighted. We recognized very quickly he had that personality we were looking for.
Dan and his wife Patti have been apart of the Almonte community for over 30 years. He is a retired high school teacher who taught mathematics and physical education at ADHS. Dan was very active outside of the classroom at ADHS, coaching a variety of sports, including football, basketball, and track. In the community, he was also involved in coaching basketball, hockey, and soccer.
After retiring in 2016, Dan has kept active through hiking, kayaking, cycling, and hockey. He is a volunteer at AGH_FVM and continues to be active in education, working with TVOntario Mathify to provide free tutoring.

Kim was born and raised in Almonte. He retired in 2011 after 37 years working for the federal government at Library and Archives Canada.
Kim is married, and has two adult children, and is the proud “Poppa” to four grandchildren.
Over the years Kim has been involved in many organizations within our community: minor hockey, softball, baseball, soccer, broomball and touch football just to name a few. He acted as president of the Almonte/Pakenham Minor Hockey Association (APMHA) for over ten years and stayed involved for twenty years. He has coached both hockey and soccer.
When he wasn’t at a sporting event you could find him on stage as a member of the local theatre group The Valley Players of Almonte. If that didn’t keep him busy enough he then joined the Almonte Legion Pipes and Drums as a drummer for over 15 years. “I always like to keep busy” he says. He also enjoys spending time on a golf course.
Since he was a teenager Kim has always been interested in working in the funeral business, and when the opportunity arose to work at Gambles he readily accepted. He looks forward to serving his community in this capacity.
